The 2024 edition of Manualetto was curated by Studio Doiz and DENARA, in collaboration with the Compagnia Portuale of Ravenna. The project took place within a section of the Compagnia Portuale’s premises — normally closed to the public — located between via Antico Squero and via Teodorico, currently used as a storage area for vehicles and materials.

For the occasion, DENARA designed a temporary pavilion that reinterpreted the boundary between port and city through a light, walkable structure: a 30-metre-long pedestrian bridge rising approximately 4 metres above the ground, conceived as an architectural device capable of turning a physical barrier into a space for passage and encounter.

Over two weekends, the site was transformed into a place for gathering and experimentation, hosting more than fifteen artists selected by Studio Doiz from among the most interesting voices of the contemporary scene. The programme brought together theatre, music, cinema and talks, highlighting hybrid languages and artistic practices capable of engaging with the industrial context of the Darsena.

The 2024 edition was also marked by a strong moment of collective participation: an additional day of programming was dedicated to fundraising for the communities affected by the flooding in Bagnacavallo, bringing together artists and local cultural organisations in a gesture of solidarity and support.
