Z.A.R.A. is a project by Studio Doiz and DENARA, implemented within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement between the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service and the Emilia-Romagna Region – FGP 2024 – Agreement 127/CU/2024. With the patronage of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Ravenna.
Programma Z.A.R.A.
Following the experience of Manualetto 2025, the warehouses at via Zara 27 once again open their doors to the city. From a group of disused industrial spaces comes Z.A.R.A, an independent project curated by Studio Doiz, in collaboration with DENARA, continuing the path of cultural regeneration initiated in the Darsena.
Z.A.R.A. is a place to be rediscovered, where young artists, curators and under-35 associations come together to shape new ideas through music, photography, workshops and shared moments. A collective experiment that transforms a former warehouse into a space for gathering, creative production and youth participation.
DAY 1 — FRIDAY 28 NOVEMBER
6:00 pm
Doors open
6:30 pm — “Urbano, troppo urbano” (exhibition)
Photography exhibition curated by Rabdomante (Giorgio Granatiero, Michele Montanari, Nicola Romagnoli, Nicolas Piazza), exploring industrial outskirts as a living part of the contemporary city.
9:30 pm — Not to Mention Trio (live music)
Live jazz and fusion from the young Romagna-based trio, winners of the Fara Music Jazz Live Prize and among the most promising emerging voices in Italian jazz.
11:00 pm — Radio Ultima Spiaggia (DJ set)
DJ set in the warehouse until 1:00 am.
DAY 2 — SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER
10:30 am — “Città da coltivare” [POSTPONED]
Art-therapy workshop for families curated by Macroglossa / Martina Ravaioli.
6:30 pm — Talk
With Nicola Montalbini, Eleonora Savorelli (Marte APS), Daniele Torcellini (ABA Ravenna), Marco Santi and Anna Caterino (Gruppo Mosaicisti Ravenna), together with the students of ABA Ravenna who worked on Il Pavimento, the installation presented at Porta Adriana.
10:00 pm — Ianiero & Zeemo (DJ set)
DJ set in the warehouse until 1:00 am, featuring techno and experimental sounds.
